Hunter Pence Needs New Music
It’s tough to know which movement to get behind these days. Occupy Wall Street? Occupy Philadelphia? Tea Party Movement? All are important, but there might not be a more pressing issue for Philadelphia Phillies fans than Hunter Pence’s at-bat song.
Hunter started off his Philadelphia tenure with a Korn song. That was disappointing to some of the people around me in the stands that night. I complained as well. We didn’t know how good we had it. Now, whenever Pence comes to the plate, fans are forced to endure Dirt Road Anthem by Jason Aldean.
Aldean has performed a duet with American Idol’s Kelly Clarkson, nuff said. While Pence seems like a Bro through and through, his musical taste is Bro-less. We must protest this song.
Hunter is from Fort Worth, Texas. He played high school and college ball in Arlington, Texas. Any famous musicans from Arlington or Fort Worth? Pantera is from Arlington. That seems like the perfect match for Pence’s style of play and the grit of Philadelphia.
Below is the video for the song that Hunter Pence currently uses. Below that song is a suggestion from Arlington, Texas boys Pantera.
