All-Timer Hockey Names

A recent night at the pub and watching the Flyers, a few of us went over some of the best names in hockey.  If you had to name a top five, who would make it?  Below are our top 5 NHL names of All-Time.

5. Zarley Zalapski

Z’s are cool.  Alliteration with double Z’s is super cool.  This might be the best alliteration in all of sports names.

2. Ron Duguay

Crazy hair, crazier name.  Pronounced: Do-Gay.

3. Hakan Loob

Classic…not hocking a loog, but Hakan Loob (pronounced, Lube).

2. Karl Dykhuis

Pronounced: dikehouse.

‘Nuff said.

1. Ron Tugnutt

Are you kidding us?  Your name is Tug Nut?  Who does that happen?  Were your ancestors lunatics on ancient tugboats?

This names sounds like every guy’s dream and nightmare at the same time depending on the intensity of the tug.
