You Got That Right
I lost in fantasy football because I forgot to start my waiver claim of Jordan Todman instead of Rainey against the 49ers.
Homeland finale was a waste of time. Time jump forward to wrap everything up is usually a sign of poor writing.
The Flyers blew a 4-1 lead to the Capitals. They lost 5-4 in shootouts and failed to exact revenge for the embarrassing 7-0 loss the last time they played the Capitals.
The Eagles..yeah, the Eagles, lost to the Vikings. Foles was average, missing some open looks. There were a couple of drops, but this loss falls on Chip Kelly and the coaching staff. It’s time to find a kicker who can kick a ball out of the end-zone inside a dome. Squib-kicking and allowing the Vikings to start every drive at the 35 or 40 yard line is not a plan for success.
Desean Jackson had another meltdown. When things going well, he’s a great teammate. When times are tough, he can turn into a spoiled punk.
I hope this game was a growing game for Chip Kelly, one that will have no serious effect on the outcome of the season since the Cowboys continue to falter. The game-plan seemed to be based on the premise that the Vikings have a horrible secondary and allow the most passing touchdowns in football. Of course that means the Eagles must pass, pass, and pass some more. As a viewer, I started to believe that Chip Kelly accidentally picked up a laminated game-plan leftover from Andy Reid.
Shady just set the Eagles all-time rushing record a week earlier, against a solid Detroit Lions defensive line. I know it was snowing, but it was snowing for both teams so footing sucked all around. Giving Shady less than 20 carries is unacceptable. The Eagles lead the NFL in rushing, yet decided to run the ball 13 times TOTAL against the Vikings. PUT THE BALL IN THE HANDS OF THE BEST RB IN FOOTBALL!
Yesterday was like deja vu of everything that was wrong with the Andy Reid passing obsession.
I’m not even gonna discuss the decision to for it on 4th down from like your own 25 yard line.
Poor job, Chip. Hey, it happens. This is your first season in the NFL. Learn from it. Learn not to get too cute with your scheme.
Still can’t believe the NFL’s leading rushing team attempted 13 rushing plays. FIVE OF WHICH WERE NICK FOLES!
