Eagles Fans Should Mark Their Calendars

It’s April. The NFL football season is almost five months away. For all the “die-hards” out there, pay attention. Get out your Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, Daytimer, wall calendar, Siri, whatever you use and mark down the important dates. You’ve been put on notice with ample warning.

Sunday afternoons should be blacked out throughout the football season. That’s a given. Make note of the games that fall out of the normal Sunday afternoon range. These games this year are:

MONDAY – September 14th – 7:10 PM – @Atlanta Falcons

MONDAY – October 19th – 8:30 PM – New York Giants

SUNDAY – October 25th – 8:30 PM – @Carolina Panthers

SUNDAY – November 8th – 8:30 PM – @Dallas Cowboys

THURSDAY – November 26th (Thanksgiving) – 12:30 PM – @Detroit Lions

SATURDAY – December 26th – 8:25 PM – Washington Redskins

BYE WEEK – WEEKEND OF NOVEMBER 1ST

Got it? If the kids, husband, wife, boyfriend or girlfriend want to go away or do something special in the Fall, schedule it during the Bye Week.

We don’t want to hear people complaining about having to do a Civil War Re-enactment with the spouse on a Dallas weekend. We don’t want to hear people calling into sportstalk radio asking what they should do because they’ve got Holiday plans on the day after Christmas. Surprise parties, retirement parties, bachelor parties, weddings, etc. Do not commit to any of these types of events without checking your Eagles calendar!

You’ve got the dates. Lock you calendars down. Think up excuses. Plan around those game times and bye week. Priorities are priorities. It’s gonna be a fun NFL Eagles season with Chip driving the train. No bellyaching if you screw up your scheduling.

E-A-G-L-E-S!
