Philly Black Friday

We ventured around Philly grabbing beers on Black Friday and decided to take in some of the shopping visuals at Macy’s. What we found was that the Christmas Holiday Light Show at Macy’s (Wanamakers) is still a classic. Get to the show early if you want to catch it on the weekend or camp out on the second floor. As you can tell in the photo, it was difficult finding a clear vantage point by the time the show started.

People trashed shoe sales section in their quest to find the perfect bargain. Yo, people, be civilized. Some poor guy or gal is gonna have to organize this after an exhausting day of work. I used to be that poor guy at K-Mart back in the day.

While squatty potty may be on everyone’s list this year, Eagles gear apparently isn’t. The Eagles merchandise section was a ghost town. We camped out there for a solid ten minutes and saw nobody even browse the racks. This was, by far, the neatest and most organized section in the store.

This begs the question, is there any Philly sports teams merch that you’d buy for someone you like this Holiday Season? Maybe a Shayne Gostisbehere jersey shirt for the Flyers fan on your list? Otherwise, spend the money somewhere else.
