Reasons Not to Cheer for Andy Reid Super Bowl
The magic of Nick Foles ended with an interception that went through the hands of the sure-handed Alshon Jeffrey. In an instant, the hopes of back-to-back Super Bowls evaporated. Within hours of the Eagles exit from the Playoffs, social media blew up with Eagles fans professing their support for Andy Reid to win his first Super Bowl.
Since the Eagles got theirs last year, I'm officially pulling for Andy Reid to get his. Ideally we get that Rams-Chiefs rematch in the Super Bowl.

Definitely rooting for the Chiefs to win it all at this point. And it makes it a lot easier to root for Andy Reid to finally win a Super Bowl after the Eagles won it all last year.
Time's yours.

Now that the Eagles are out I'm rooting for the Chiefs. Hope Andy Reid can finally get that elusive Super Bowl win.

Every Eagles fan should be rooting for Andy Reid to win now. The man deserves a Super Bowl ring

Yeah, I’m out on that.
The Eagles got theirs and Andy Reid gave us Eagles fans some great years, but that doesn’t mean I have to root for him to win his first Super Bowl.
I just can’t bring myself to do it for a number of reasons. I have a number of reasons not to cheer for an Andy Reid Super Bowl. Here are just a few.
How many years did Reid tell us the wide receiver position was fine with the likes of James Thrash, Todd Pinkston, Greg Lewis, Billy McMullen, Donte Stallworth, Jabar Gaffney, Jeremy Bloom, Kevin Curtis, Hank Bassett, and countless others while denying wide receivers were a concern?

He talked down to the fans, like they were clueless, through the press whenever asked about his devaluing of the wide receiver or linebacker position. We all knew the talent wasn’t good enough to win a Super Bowl, yet he stubbornly rolled out a cast of mediocre players at those positions.
When Reid finally acquiesced, brought in the likes of a Terrell Owens, and the Eagles finally reached the Super Bowl, he lacked the leadership to keep the locker room together smooth over issues between Owens and other teammates.
His time-management skills were a joke that never improved.
He refused to the run the football.
I still have flashbacks to those throat-clearing press conferences filled with dozens of “I gotta do a better job.”
He didn’t fight to keep Brian Dawkins here to finish his career. Sure, Joe Banner was probably the heavy hand there, but Reid had enough weight with Lurie to keep Dawkins here.
He brought in Jim Washburn.
He made an offensive line coach his defensive coordinator.
Jason Babin.
Finally, the most important reason that I’m not cheering for Andy Reid to win a Super Bowl is quite simple. I’ll be betting on the Patriots. I cannot, in my right mind, bet on Andy Reid in a game against Bill Belichick. It’s like the perfect storm of two of my betting mantras. Do not bet on Big Red as I’ve been burned in bad beats far too many times and never bet against Tom Brady and Bill Belichick.
Now, if I did get a change of heart and wanted to cheer for Andy Reid this weekend, this video would probably put an end to that. I cannot root for any fan base that does this annoying Tomahawk Chop. Plus, this KC fan base has had it way too easy with Andy. Keep their drought going!
