Wawa Wraps Philly Sandwiches in Ravens Paper
Yesterday, a tweet from @VinceCoglianese went rival around Philly showing a Wawa sandwich bought in Washington, DC wrapped in a Philadelphia Eagles Fly Eagles Fly wrapper.
Just bought this sandwich at @Wawa in downtown Washington, DC.
Now they’re just rubbing it in. pic.twitter.com/4oRajCpcSg

Eagles fans found humor in Wawa wrapping Baltimore/DC sandwiches in Eagles paper.

Ha! Wawa is trolling Baltimore Ravens fans in the DC/Baltimore area. What’s not to like about that? But, not to fast because it’s happening here in Philly.
Check out this text my buddy Jason sent me early Tuesday a.m. of this week.
He scored a late-night hoagie at the Wawa at 2nd and South (Headhouse Square) in Philly and it was wrapped in revolting Baltimore Ravens Play Like a Raven paper. Wawa is either trolling both fan-bases or someone screwed-up shipments of their sandwich paper, sending the Ravens paper to Philly and vice versa. Something tells me it’s the latter.
I guess this is what happens when you sell your corporate sponsorship soul to two different teams in the same sport and in such close proximity to one another. Somewhere, the Football Gods are laughing.
