Pistachio Girl Exclusive
A few years ago, Citizens Bank Park was filled capacity. The Phillies were a winning team. In a sea of fans, ushers, and yellow-shirted moving vendors she stood out. She had a quirky smile and tattered combat boots. Her siren-like voice caught everyone’s attention. PISTAAAAAACHIOOOOOOS! She might be the only vendor in Philly with a Facebook Fan Page.
Over the years, she’s become an enigma. Some games she’s there and then some she isn’t. We’ve seen her vending water and water ice since the ballpark took Pistachios from her. She’ll forever be known as Pistachio Girl. They must’ve been a poor seller because no one has since donned the pistachios bag.
She, Emily, missed the first month or so of this season. We feared her gone, but then she appeared…out of nowhere.
Pistachio Girl was gracious enough to hang with us for 7 Questions. She’s busy lady and had money to make. Watch the video below to learn a little more about Pistachio Girl…
Don’t forget to keep and eye out for Emily’s feature film Afred Alfer (I hear trailers exist on the intraweb) and her friends’ band Fever Red
