Hell Yeah….It’s a Wizard Weekend in Philly!

The Flyers got knocked out of the Playoffs. The Sixers got knocked out of the Playoffs. Luckily, we have just the thing this weekend to shake you out of your sports depression…Wizards!

The Wizards are a-coming and this jawn should be spectacular. Philly is home to some great events at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. We’ve brought you highlights from the Auto Show, the Flower Show, there’s the home show and then there is the coolest of the cool, the funnest of the fun, Wizard World Comic Con.

I know what some of you are thinking…it’s a nerd thing. Yup, you’re right. It is a nerd thing and kid thing and an adult thing and an everyone who enjoys pop culture, gaming, music, sci-fi, contests, toys, comics, and more thing. Basically, if you can’t get into this for a fun weekend we probably can’t be friends.

Wizard World begins Thursday May 17th at 4:00 p.m. and runs through Sunday at 4:00 p.m.

What’s involved in Wizard World? Oh nothing just basically something for EVERYONE. Don’t believe us? Take a gander:

-Group Q&A sessions with the stars of  Lord of the Rings (Elijah Wood, Sean Astin and  Billy Boyd), and Justice League ( Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher),  Stephen Amell (“Arrow,” “The Flash”), Sebastian Stan ( Captain America franchise), Henry “FREAKIN” Winkler (“Happy Days,”  Here Comes the Boom), three superstar “Women of Pop Culture” (Pom Klementieff of Guardians of the Galaxy , Holly Marie Combs of “Charmed,” “Picket Fences” and Charisma Carpenter  of “Buffy The Vampire Slayer,” “Angel”), anime, video games, cosplayer and comics creator sessions, adult and kids costume contests and more highlight the 120 hours of programming offerings at Wizard World.
