Phillies vs. Yankees: Game in Review

Last night was a raucous environment at Citizens Bank Park as the Yankees visiting with about 20,000 of their annoying fans.

I missed the entire first inning because of this chaos entering the park. The Phillies’ staff haven’t had crowds like this since the metal detectors were installed and their rust was evident by the time it took to get into the building.

By the way, who is Old Dominion and why are they doing a post-game concert? Oh, it’s just another generic, over-produced pop-country band.

Noticed this last game, but didn’t get audio/video. Scott Kingery’s walk-up song is DJ Kool’s Let Me Clear My Throat. You might be able to make it out in the background. Gotta love that.

Bongo Cam was solid last night.

Phillies Phanatic had a timely skit with a “Yankees” fan. Something tells me this guy was the male intern who pulled the shortest straw.

Fans battled all night to see who could do a louder chant between Let’s Go Yankees and Let’s Go Phillies.

Here’s the last out where the dirty New Yorkers celebrated a victory in our building.

Game seemed like a sellout. Official number was 44,136.
