Eagles/Cowboys Random Thoughts

I’ve awakened (awoken?) from my Black Friday sleep in so it’s time to spew some Eagles/Cowboys random thoughts. If you happen to be stuck in the malls or stores perhaps this can provide a 2 minutes respite.

–Lee Ann Womack attempted to break Guiness’ World Record of slowest US National Anthem EVER. I think Whitney Houston still holds that title.

–Joe Buck and Troy Aikman need to lose the Lumbersexual look.  Buck, especially. He’s got an even creepier vibe with the facial hair. 

–Darren Sproles in motion is impossible to stop for short yard gain.

-I like the falling leaves around the Fox score in the top left corner of the broadcast. Can’t wait for the holiday lights.

-The Cowboys’ Stadium PA Announcer might actually think he’s at a monster truck even. Settle down, dude.

-The Cowboys stadium playing the old car alarm sound when there is a turnover is weak. Nothing like this compares to the awesome Viking horn played whenever the Vikings get a first down.

-The Eagles’ pace for the first half was brilliant. It didn’t allow any time for Joe Buck nonsense and Dallas ass-kissing.

-The longest breaks for the Eagles’ defense in the first half were the commercial breaks.

–Sproles usually makes the first man down on punt coverage look ridiculous. 

–Aikman talking about Romo’s golf game….WHO CARES?

-Why does the ball go to Riley Cooper on 3rd & Goal?

-I’d buy a Fletcher Cox jersey.

–Cowboys fans don’t know the difference between blow to the head and a facemask.

–Sanchez making pump fakes ten yards past the line of scrimmage isn’t that effective.
